Student Project

Preservation Campaign: The Vézere Valley

This is a student project where I created a series of designs relating to the advocation for the preservation of the Prehistoric Sites And Caves of the Vézere Valley, located in France. Each project has an object representing human intervention.

Instagram Posts

Create 3 Instagram posts to promote the advocation of the preservation of The Prehistoric Sites and Caves of the Vézere Valley. I used caution tape as a metaphor to highlight the human intervention affecting the cave.

Animation

Create an animation surrounding that same theme of preservation for the historical site. I used toxic sludge as a metaphor to symbolize the human intervention affecting the state of the cave.

Brochure

Create a brochure showcasing statistics about the damage that has been done. Bacteria is being used as a metaphor for the human intervention affecting the state of the cave.

3D Installation

Create a 3D installation. Footsteps are being used to represent the human intervention affecting the state of the cave.

The Getty Museum caries beautiful visual art with a concentration on cultural heritage. They work to preserve irreplaceable art from around the globe. The Prehistoric sites and caves of the Vézere Valley have artwork from hundreds of thousands of years ago that needs to be preserved. Placing this outdoor installation here would remind people how important it is to keep our planet’s history alive. This installation is in front of the Getty Center, which has beautiful architecture with curves that match the shapes of this 3D experience.

Content Map

Create a content map laying out all the information on this historic landmark. It will be used as a reference for the upcoming projects.
